Below is a video of my visit to Kenya in February 2012. I received an exceptionally warm welcome from the people and the Church.
During one of the services at Kamiredu, Kenya, on a Thursday, I asked the congregation what they desired most from God during my visit. To my surprise, they did not ask for money or material blessings. Instead, they asked for rain.
They shared that there had been no significant rainfall since the previous year. Their crops were drying up and withering due to the lack of water, and their livestock were dying from dehydration. I was deeply moved by the severe drought that was affecting not only their community but much of the nation of Kenya.
Under the leading and anointing of the Holy Spirit, I prophesied:
“By tomorrow, there shall be more than enough rain throughout the land of Kenya!”
The following day was Friday, and I was scheduled to minister at a Night Vigil Prayer Meeting. Then, at approximately 11:47 p.m., the heavy rainfall that had been prophesied began to pour down.
You can hear the sound of the rain in the video and see people arriving at the meeting completely soaked from the downpour. It was a remarkable moment of faith, prayer, and God's divine intervention.
